Telangana made history by launching India’s first-ever Sports Hackathon, a two-day event designed to bridge sports and technology. Hosted by the Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) at the Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli, the initiative aims to address fitness, physical, and technical challenges faced by athletes across 24 disciplines, including basketball, fencing, kabaddi, badminton, powerlifting, and athletics. Over 2,000 participants registered, with 20 innovators shortlisted to pitch their ideas before a jury in a one-minute format.
